Email setup

The agent can read, search, and draft email for you, and — with your explicit go-ahead each time — send it. This is opt-in and off until you configure a mailbox.

Connecting a mailbox

Email setup uses standard IMAP/SMTP credentials (not OAuth), entered once in the dashboard's Settings panel: your email address, IMAP host/port, and SMTP host/port. Most providers document these settings under "IMAP/SMTP access" or "third-party app access" in their own settings.

What it can do without asking

  • List mailboxes, list messages, read messages, search — all read-only, always safe.
  • Draft a reply or new message — this only saves to your Drafts folder, nothing is sent.

Sending is gated

Actually sending an email is evaluated before it goes out — if anything about it looks risky (an unusual recipient, sensitive content), it's held for your review instead of sending silently. You'll always know what went out and what didn't; the agent won't claim something was sent when it wasn't.

Multiple mailboxes

You can configure more than one mailbox if you manage several inboxes — the agent will ask which one you mean when it's not obvious from context.
